My Legal Practice

I represent employees in individual and class actions involving discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and pay equity.

Before joining Outten & Golden, I worked at Relman Colfax, where I represented individuals and organizations in cases involving housing and disability discrimination, as well as fair lending.

I also interned for a variety of civil rights organizations throughout law school, including DOJ Civil Rights and DOJ Office of Legal Policy, ACLU of PA, and Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.

My Story

As a first-generation college and professional student, and coming from a family of restaurant workers, my personal experiences have shaped my commitment to public interest work.

In college, I studied sociology. Before law school, I worked as a policy analyst at the Urban Institute, where I conducted research to improve the criminal justice system. That experience deepened my understanding of how institutions function and how policy choices shape outcomes on the ground, and it led me to pursue a joint degree in law and policy.

In my legal career, I have focused on building the skills to be an effective public interest advocate. During law school, I interned for DOJ Civil Rights, DOJ Office of Legal Policy, ACLU of PA, and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. After law school, I clerked for a federal judge before working at a civil rights law firm, bringing a variety of cases focused on enforcing fair lending and fair housing.

Today, I continue to seek to remove systemic barriers and protect workers’ rights so that all individuals can be free of discrimination.
