My Legal Practice

I work across Outten & Golden’s individual and class action practice groups to advance the rights of employees in the workplace.

Along with my colleagues, I represent both individuals and large groups of workers to vindicate their rights and challenge employers’ discriminatory, unfair, and unlawful practices.

Law firms like ours play an important role in a world where corporate power often goes unchecked. I value working at a firm that challenges such power by standing up for employees and workers.

Notable Cases

  • Representing plaintiffs in a class action against a major airline for leave policies that discriminate against military service members.
  • Representing plaintiffs in several wage and hour class actions against technology companies for unlawfully misclassifying their employees.

Credentials

  • B.A., University of Pennsylvania, summa cum laude
  • J.D., University of California, Berkley – School of Law
  • Clerked for the Honorable Sarah A.L. Merriam of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut

My Story

I went to law school with the hope of becoming an advocate who could change people’s lives for the better and, in some small way, contribute to making the world more fair and equitable.  At UC Berkeley, which has a strong public interest spirit, curriculum, and community, I was constantly inspired by my classmates and teachers, who were empathetic and relentless in their pursuit of justice.  It was at Berkeley where I was first introduced to plaintiff-side employment law work and to the robust Bay Area community of public interest lawyers advocating for workers’ rights.

I truly enjoy working at a mission-driven law firm with colleagues who share my values and where every day I help people exercise their rights by demanding fair wages in a workplace free of discrimination.
