My Legal Practice

I am a litigator, adviser, and transactional lawyer who advocates for executives and professionals across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, financial services, media, and biotech.

I have more than twenty years of experience litigating whistleblower retaliation claims, international employment law issues, breach of contract claims, family and medical leave and disability discrimination disputes, other types of discrimination and retaliation claims, and non-compete cases in federal and state courts and arbitrations.

Outside of the courtroom, I negotiate employment, compensation, change in control, secondment, and severance contracts for executives and professionals and advise clients whose employers are undergoing transactions. For instance, I frequently represent physicians in the evolution of their careers, including in their first employment contacts, practice and hospital transitions, and consulting arrangements. I also counsel clients who are trying to navigate workplace disputes and understand their rights.

The multi-faceted aspect of my practice allows me to represent clients whether they’re embarking on a new opportunity, or they need to understand or assert their rights when a  dispute arises.  Whether negotiating or litigating, I tirelessly advocate for clients, while keeping their goals in mind.

Prior to joining Outten & Golden in 2018, I was a partner at a boutique labor and employment law firm, where I represented individual employees in the full range of employment disputes, disability rights organizations in public accommodation cases, and labor unions in contractual and disciplinary grievances and arbitrations.
