My Legal Practice

As a member of Outten & Golden's class action practice group, I help groups of people take on their employers for widespread pay-related practices, mistreatment, and discrimination based on gender, race, age or other factors.

I’m involved in all aspects of a class action, doing my part to build strong cases. I talk with clients to prepare them for depositions, take part in court conferences on discovery issues, and contribute to many other aspects of litigation. I like digging into the facts and complexities of a case, understanding its nuances, and doing my part to strengthen our arguments for the clients.

I find employment law interesting and intriguing – every case is different. It’s a pleasure to be part of a team that works so hard on behalf of its clients.

Notable Matters

  • Part of a team that secured a $215 million settlement for women at Goldman Sachs, who accused the firm of pervasive gender discrimination in pay, promotions, and performance evaluations.
  • Secured a $3.35 million class action settlement for nearly 17,000 Uber Eats applicants, who allege they were unlawfully rejected because of their criminal records.
  • Secured a $6 million settlement for Ecolab route managers, who allegedly were misclassified and denied overtime.
  • Represented a devout Muslim immigrant who was terminated by his healthcare employer after his prayer rug was discovered.

My Story

From an early age, I knew that I wanted to be a lawyer. I just wasn’t yet aware of all the different areas of law that existed.

After college, I spent three years as an elementary school ESL through Teach for America in Harlem. I enjoyed teaching but still felt drawn to becoming a lawyer. I went to UCLA Law and was fortunate to have a professor, a former civil rights attorney, who broadened my view of the ways I could fight for people’s rights and dignity.

After getting my J.D., I returned to New York City, where I grew up, and joined Outten & Golden, where I’m able to impact people’s lives in positive ways every day.
