About 

DAVE JOCHNOWITZ is a senior associate in Outten & Golden’s New York office, where he represents whistleblowers in False Claims Act cases and retaliation matters. He has represented clients alleging healthcare fraud, including Medicare and Medicaid fraud, defense fraud, small business fraud, customs fraud, and more. His clients have included senior corporate executives, financial services professionals, quantitative traders, physicians, nurses, pharmaceutical sales representatives, current and former members of the military, and other whistleblowers in both the United States and abroad.

Dave has worked on whistleblower matters at every level of the federal courts, representing clients before trial and appellate courts and acting as part of two Supreme Court amicus teams. Whistleblower cases he has worked on have returned hundreds of millions of dollars to the federal government and millions of dollars in whistleblower rewards.

Prior to joining the firm in 2022, he represented whistleblowers and consumers at two plaintiff law firms in Washington, D.C. and New York. He also clerked in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Dave graduated from Harvard Law School in 2013 and Brooklyn College in 2007. He served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Malawi from 2008 to 2010.
