As graphically illustrated by Chrysler Corp.’s merger into a new, German corporation, called DaimlerChrysler Aktiengesellschaft—the largest industrial merger of all time—today’s transnational mega-mergers are increasing the number of domestic employees who work for foreign entities. With their transfer to foreign management, these employees are likely to find changes in the laws that protect them as employees.
