Over nearly two decades of practice, I’ve represented clients in almost every industry and at every phase of their career, including workers in technology, healthcare, finance, and fashion. My clients turn to me because I’m both a counselor, a litigator and a trial lawyer, who can serve as a go-to advocate on a range of workplace issues.
I’m particularly driven by cases that combat sexual harassment and other forms of gender mistreatment in the workplace. Sometimes my clients need help navigating a thorny issue quietly and behind the scenes. Other times, I’m here to go the distance, holding employers accountable in court, and holding harassers accountable for the selfish trauma they inflict on others.
Every situation has its own delicate path forward, which we find together.
I’ve dedicated my life to serving the underrepresented. I always champion the underdog
I began my career as a New York City public defender, but soon after I found my calling as an employment lawyer, in part because I saw just how prevalent discrimination, gender inequity, and harassment remained in our society.
One of the first women I helped was a corrections officer who was pervasively sexually harassed and fired when she spoke up about it. I litigated the case, obtaining justice for the client and creating good federal law around how federal courts define sexual harassment.
Since then, I’ve represented countless women through some of the most difficult times in their lives, while building a practice that combats gender harassment, discrimination, and inequality.
Many of my cases have the potential to help those in need and change how employers conduct themselves. That’s important, because almost every employer, even those that espouse equality, still battles gender discrimination and harassment in one form or another.
I’m fortunate for the opportunities I’ve had to right a wrong, and I’m proud to be able to help my clients find justice, however they define it.
