As part of the $215 million settlement secured by Outten & Golden and Leiff Cabraser in Chen-Oster v. Goldman Sachs, a cy pres award of nearly $1.6 million has been distributed to Equal Rights Advocates and the National Women’s Law Center. A cy pres award delivers settlement funds that were not claimed by class members to nonprofits whose work advances the goals of the case.
