CHIAMAKA A. ECHEBIRI is a Civil Rights Attorney and a Litigation Fellow at Outten & Golden LLP. She is a member of the firm's Individual and Class Action Practice Group. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Chiamaka represented low-income and racially marginalized tenants in Bronx Housing Court. Chiamaka earned her B.A., cum luade, in both African American Studies and Sociology from UCLA in 2018, and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2021, where she served as a staff editor for the Georgetown Journal of Modern Critical Race Perspectives. During law school, Chiamaka represented economically marginalized Ward 8 District of Columbia residents to secure housing and social security benefits. Chiamaka also clerked for the Hon. Montez Sterling Cobb at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
