Outten & Golden attorneys serve on the boards of many non-profit organizations, including Workplace Fairness, Human Rights Watch, A Better Balance, the Lawyer’s Committee for Civil Rights, N.I.C.E. (New Immigrant Community Empowerment) and Queers for Economic Justice. O&G lawyers are active in major leadership positions in numerous bar associations relating to employment law both nationally and internationally. All O&G lawyers are members of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) and its New York affiliate, NELA/NY. O&G lawyers serve in leadership positions in the American Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Law Section and the New York State Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Law Section, and on their executive committees and councils. They are also current or past Chairs of Sections of the ABA, the New York City Bar Association, the Women’s Bar, NELA National, NELA/NY, and the New York County Lawyers Association.
