Mid-Level Associate – Individual Negotiation and Litigation

Outten & Golden is accepting applications for a mid- to senior-level associate to work in the Washington, DC office for the firm’s individual practice area. The associate will represent employees in all areas of employment law, including cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, leaves of absence, layoffs and executive compensation. The associate will have extensive client contact and the opportunity to work on cases in a variety of contexts including federal and state courts, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative agencies (e.g., the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission), as well as negotiations and client counseling.

Must have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience litigating in the area of employment law, and current D.C. Bar license. Applicants with judicial clerkship or equivalent experience preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, writing, research, litigation and case management skills, and a commitment to protecting individual employment rights. Membership in the Virginia Bar a plus.
