Outten & Golden LLP, a plaintiff-side employment law firm in midtown Manhattan, has openings for several part-time contract attorneys to write briefs, interview witnesses, draft declarations, review documents, and perform other litigation tasks as part of a busy wage-and-hour practice. Although some of the work can be done remotely, occasional in-person meetings will be necessary, especially at the outset; office space will be available on premises. These are temporary positions but could lead to additional engagements.
O&G represents only employees in a broad range of employment matters: workplace discrimination and harassment; disability accommodations; family and medical leave; minimum wage and overtime violations; whistle-blowing and retaliation; breach of contract and non-competition/non-solicitation clauses; and severance, contract, and partnership negotiations.
O&G has over 60 attorneys. Our attorneys are interviewed and quoted regularly on television and in print, regularly speak at bar association events, publish articles, and chair bar association committees.
Our ideal candidate has a commitment to civil rights and workplace fairness, is an excellent writer, has litigation experience, and has been an associate with a top-tier law firm.
Please mail or e-mail a cover letter, resume, and writing sample of no more than ten pages (not edited by anyone else) in one pdf, specifying the office in which you are interesting working, to @email. No phone calls, please.
