Associate – Whistleblower & Retaliation Practice Area

Outten & Golden is accepting applications for a talented, motivated litigation associate to work in the New York office. The Whistleblower & Retaliation practice area protects employees from retaliation for reporting conduct protected under law. The associate will advise employees who have been illegally retaliated against for reporting misconduct in the workplace, including discrimination and financial wrongdoing. The associate will have extensive client contact and the opportunity to work on cases in a variety of contexts including federal and state courts, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative agencies.

Must have minimum of 3-5 years of employment law experience; background in whistleblower protection, specifically Sarbanes-Oxley and Dodd-Frank, strongly preferred. Judicial clerkship experience is valued but not required. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical ability and outstanding research, writing, and client management skills.
