Outten & Golden partner Jahan Sagafi has been recognized one of the Top Labor & Employment Lawyers in California by the Daily Journal in California. The annual award is given to 75 California-based attorneys for their contributions to the law and the community. Daily Journal’s list draws from plaintiffs’, defense, government, and nonprofit lawyers. Mr. Sagafi was included for the third year in a row.
The Daily Journal highlighted Mr. Sagafi’s work on del Toro Lopez v Uber Technologies, where he recently won a $10 million settlement with ride-hailing giant Uber Technologies Inc. This past December, Mr. Sagafi also won a federal jury trial on behalf of 1,000 computer support employees seeking overtime pay from their employer, Computer Sciences Corporation.
