Outten & Golden LLP, which focuses exclusively on representing employees, is pleased to announce that 18 of its attorneys have been recognized as being among the top lawyers in the 2014 editions of Super Lawyers and Rising Stars.

Wayne N. Outten, Anne Golden, Laurence S. Moy, Wendi S. Lazar, Justin M. Swartz, Kathleen Peratis, Jack A. Raisner, Carmelyn P. Malalis, Cara E. Greene, Ossai Miazad, Jahan C. Sagafi, Lori L. Deem, Paul W. Mollica and associate Katherine Blostein were recognized for their work in the area of Employment & Labor.

Partners Adam T. Klein, Tammy Marzigliano, Rene S. Roupinian and Rachel Bien were recognized for their work in the area of Employment Litigation for the Plaintiff.

Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.  Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with third party research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement.

This year’s Rising Stars include Katherine Blostein, recognized in the category of Employment & Labor. Ms. Blostein, an associate, has been promoted to partner as of January 1, 2015.

The selection process for Rising Stars requires that the candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for ten years or less; notably, no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers are named to the Rising Stars list.

“We believe that all our lawyers are stars or stars in the making, and it seems that Super Lawyers agrees,” said Ms. Lazar. “I am pleased and proud,” said Mr. Outten, “that so many of our lawyers from various practice groups (including every partner) were recognized by Super Lawyers.”
