Terrance Brennan’s Artisanal Fromagerie, Bistro and Wine Bar is the latest restaurant to face a lawsuit over the way tips are appropriated.
The suit, filed in Federal District Court in Manhattan on Thursday by four former workers, alleges that Mr. Brennan gave some tip money to managers and workers at the restaurant’s cheese counter, whose duties make them ineligible for tips under state and federal law.
