Outten & Golden NYU Law School Fellowship
The O&G NYU Law School Fellowship offers a significant opportunity for public-interest-oriented NYU graduates to learn litigation skills from experienced and passionate colleagues. The Fellow will:
• Work on a substantial docket of both individual and class cases, and, through close supervision and training by more senior lawyers, be given the opportunity to develop a variety of negotiation and litigation skills;
• Create and execute a fellowship-long public interest project consistent with the goals of O&G and the Fellow;
• Coordinate the Firm’s public interest committee, which vets proposed pro bono cases and chooses the recipient of the annual Public Interest Award;
• Maintain and nurture relationships with the Firm’s non-profit allies.
Our ideal candidate has a commitment to workplace fairness and strong commitment to public interest work, has excellent writing and analytical skills, and thrives on independent responsibility. This Fellowship is open to new NYU Law graduates and to NYU Law graduates completing clerkships.
