Amber C. Trzinski

AMBER C. TRZINSKI is an associate at Outten & Golden LLP, where she represents employees in litigation and negotiation in all areas of employment law. Before joining Outten & Golden LLP, Ms. Trzinski clerked for the Honorable Ronald L. Ellis of the Southern District of New York. Following her clerkship, she worked at Legal Aid of Western Missouri as a staff attorney litigating cases on behalf of individuals and organizations. Ms. Trzinski received her B.S. in international business from the University of Southern California in 2001, and her J.D. from the University of Denver in 2009, where she was a Chancellor’s Scholar.

During law school, Ms. Trzinski worked as a student attorney in her law school's Civil Rights Clinic litigating constitutional claims in federal court. Ms. Trzinski also litigated class action cases at the Disability Rights Legal Center in Los Angeles, and asylum cases at the Rocky Mountain Survivor Center. She was the president of the student chapter of Amnesty International, and an editor on the Denver Journal of International Law & Policy. Ms. Trzinski is also a founding board member of the Colorado Prison Law Project. In 2008, she received the United Nations Association of Colorado Human Rights Award for advancing global human rights.

Prior to law school, Ms. Trzinski worked as a community outreach specialist and advocate for survivors of sexual assault and relationship violence. She also served as a volunteer for two years in the United States Peace Corps in Guatemala.

Ms. Trzinski is admitted to practice in the states of New York, California, and Missouri, and the District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) and its New York affiliate, as well as the American Bar Association and the New York City and State Bar Associations.
