Requirements: Must have 1-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law, or judicial clerkship; strong writing and research skills; commitment to protecting employee rights. Technical Support Analyst

Outten & Golden LLP has an opening for an mid-level technical support analyst in our New York office. Job Duties include:

Technical Support

  • Create Active Directory users & login scripts
  • Provide Network Support backup
  • Blackberry Support
  • Audio/Video and conference room Setups
  • Submitting, Tracking and escalating trouble tickets
  • Install new client software and upgrade existing client software on all PC’s.
  • Travel to CT office to provide application support when necessary.
  • Provide support for attorneys that are on the road – keep laptops up to date
  • Maintenance of application databases
  • Control eFax accounts

Application Support

  • Primary tech support person for all litigation and case management software
  • Install software and configure for individual user
  • Control security access for application software
  • Familiar with iManage Document & Records Management System - Provide technical support and remote assistance
  • Experience with VMWare vSphere & Dell Equalogic SANs
  • MS Office 2007/10 support and configuration
  • MS Office Communicator support & configuration
  • Time Matters
  • Research new software that will assist attorneys and automate office operations
  • SQL Administration and coding experience a requirement

Telephone Support

  • Support VOIP phone system
  • Manage accounts for Avaya Communications manager

Training

  • iManage Document & Record Management System

  • Office equipment -- copier, telephone, scanners, etc.
  • Training on miscellaneous hardware and software supported by office

Web Design

  • Handle all updates to O&G website via Drupal CMS
  • Participate in web design sub-committee
  • Coordinate major design changes with web designer

Marketing Coordinator

Job Requirements

Our ideal applicant will have a Bachelors Degree and a background in marketing. Law firm experience and/or experience in a not-for-profit organization is preferred.

The applicant should also have strong written and oral communication skills, strong analytical and organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word 2007, Outlook, Adobe and Excel, HTML, Dreamweaver, Xaviour and web design and/or the ability to learn complex programs quickly. Applicant must have experience with print and online marketing including Google Analytics, Adwords, Webtrends and Clicktracks.

Law Clerk Position

Outten & Golden LLP hires part-time law clerks in its New York Office for the Spring and Fall, and full-time law clerks in the Summer. Spring and Fall law clerks are expected to work approximately twenty hours per week. Summer law clerks work full time (approximately forty hours per week). Law clerk positions are overtime-eligible.
